A four-week pottery wheel journey to explore presence through clay
There are only few things more humbling than the pottery wheel. The clay spins beneath our hands, constantly moving, constantly changing. Some days it responds effortlessly. Other days it seems to have a mind of its own.
When I first learned to throw, I thought the challenge was technical. Over time, I discovered something else.
The wheel taught me patience.
It taught me to pay attention and accept that not everything can be controlled.
It taught be to humble and accept begin again, and again, and again.

Designed for participants who have completed a discovery session, this cycle offers the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the pottery wheel over four weeks. Rather than focusing on producing perfect pieces, this journey invites you to explore the relationship between your hands, your body, and the clay. As you learn to center the clay, you may discover a way of centering yourself too.
