Japanese Garden pot
These pots are designed to hold your paint brush. Each pot is decorated with a colorful pinkish glaze, resulting of the superposition of two glazes. Because superposition will all be different, you will not have twice the same design. Some will be soft pink while some will be darker pink. To add to the party, I splash little golden dots and stars before a 3rd firing.
The inside of the pot is glaze with a shiny white glaze. The clay is cream/white.
Size: 10 cm x 10 cm (Size will vary as hand made).
*All my glazes are lead-free, 100% non-toxic and food safe.
** Gold is not suitable for dishwasher, oven or microwave.
Each item is carefully handcrafted from start to finish.
Made from stoneware clay, every item is decorated, trimmed and signed by my hand.
When bone dry, every piece is fired twice: the first firing is just over 980 degrees centigrade and once the step done, the piece is ready to be decorated with glaze before the second firing at 1250 degrees centigrade.
The finished piece is unique and ready to find a new home.
