Mimosa mug
The Mimosa Mug is a touch of light shaped by hand.
Each piece is wheel-thrown, decorated, and hand-painted in my studio. The mimosa branches are painted one by one — no decals, no printing. The interior is glazed in white, allowing the fine iron speckles of the clay to softly show through. The exterior is finished with a transparent glaze that reveals the natural texture of the clay, while the lower part is left unglazed, smooth and soft to the touch.
No two mugs are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in brushstrokes, shades of yellow, and tiny marks from the clay tell the story of the gesture, the time, and the care devoted to each piece.
With this mug, I invite you to hold a living object in your hands — shaped with patience and intention.

Made from stoneware clay, every item is decorated, trimmed and signed by my hand.
When bone dry, every piece is fired twice: the first firing is just over 980 degrees centigrade and once the step done, the piece is ready to be decorated with glaze before the second firing at 1220 degrees centigrade.
The finished piece is unique and ready to find a new home.
